multiFuels is developing CO2 pipeline assets and infrastructure in the US Gulf Coast to deliver anthropogenic (man made) CO2 from industrial sources to mature oil fields. These oil fields will use the CO2 for EOR (enhanced oil recovery) in order to stimulate oil production.

The CO2 is injected into mature oil fields under pressure where it mixes with the remaining oil that could not be produced using conventional production methods. By utilizing CO2, the EOR Operator can substantially increase production from the field and extend the field life for decades. In conjunction with EOR, MultiFuels will develop a CCS facility that will permanently store CO2 from anthropogenic sources. This facility will connect to the MultiFuel pipeline infrastructure to provide overflow capacity and assure customers permanent storage options to reduce their CO2 emissions.
